About Forms and Worksheets
PDF Forms
Many of the forms and worksheets below can be filled out on the computer via a PDF reader, such as the free Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. While most Internet browsers have a PDF reader plug‐in and the form will open in your Internet browser, it is important that you save your work. To ensure you do not lose your work, and you can upload assignments:
- Download the form and save it to your computer.
- Open the form in the PDF reader software, such as Acrobat Reader.
- Fill out the form.
- Save to your computer.
Microsoft Excel Forms
A few forms are also available in Microsoft Excel. These forms will automatically download to your computer.
Bakersfield College students can get Office 365 for free, which includes Excel. Signup at Microsoft Student Offers using your student email address. You can also open the Excel files using Google Sheets.
General Education Patterns
The following are General Education (Gen Ed) patterns of courses to accomplish the goals of earning an Associates Degree (AA/AS), transfer to a CSU (referred to as the CSU Breadth) or transfer to a UC. Most UCs use the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) and the IGETC for STEM. These are intended to assist you in filling out the Comprehensive Student Educational Plan Form below. Course descriptions can be found in the online catalog.

Student Education Plan (SEP) Forms
The Student Educational Plan (SEP) are computer friendly PDF files and may be filled out after downloading and saving to your computer. Most browsers will not let you save the filled‐in form. Therefore, download the form and save to your computer; then, complete the downloaded form and save. More information about BC degree guidelines can be found in the BC online catalog. Catalogs are available online from 2000-2001 to the current year.
